Good or bad, I encourage everyone to post comments (constructive critics prefered) about what ever you may read below. I'm no great writer, but I have fun with it. Hope you enjoy. Editors NOTE: For the record...I have included some poems that I wrote while being in sad/dark places. Writting down those feelinigs and thoughts would help get perspective on being sad. So I included them just to say, if you have ever felt this way, you are not alone. Write your own feelings down. Read over them and maybe share them with someone you love/who loves you. Don't let it bottle up.

A twinkling of Eternity

If you could hold again
A yesterday my friend
Would you say his name, the one and same
Who can save another soul

What are your plans today
Will you just throw away
The truth they seek, that you could speak
Of The blood that paid the toll

And if tomorrow’s nigh
But comes not one more time
No your regrets, no chance begets
To change the choices made

It is eternally
In Life or Death we’ll be
Friend can you spare, with love and care
A twinkling...of your eternity

What is Humble ?

Humble has no ego
It’s spirit meek and small
Since never known as serving self
Its extinction is forestall

Humble’s only comrade
Obedience it seems
Resisting always any pride

Have you Considered?

Have you Considered?

The concepts you ponder, from here to the yonder
The thoughts that you think in your brain,
Theoretical concentration of the contemplation
Just might keep you partially sane.
Yet philosophy’s way, in man’s mind today
Distorted at best and here’s why
Pride pushes out God, his staff and his rod
And leaves you with I, Me, and My
Thinking together, they refuse to be nether
To the three an unthinkable notion
Serve a God who above so freely does love
They can’t spare the extra emotion
Biblically schoolish, man’s wisdom is foolish
Our thinking to God’s, not a match
True thought liberation, comes from God’s Salvation
A thought worth the effort to catch.

A perfect day’s catch for a Wawfullah Ball match
In the sky was no drizzle, just dry
The teams were all set for the game to beget
The trophy, was 3 stories high.

The Mitzan twice tooted, the players all scooted
On the field, so anxious to begin
The ref, he explained the rules to the game

twinklin' teardrop - we Live

(to the tune of twinkle twinkle little star)
twinklin' teardrop in your eye,
praying it's a happy cry.
smiling through emotions rain,
washing over joy and pain.
twinklin' teardrop in your eye,
in God's hand each one will dry.

Emotions rain of joy and pain
Healing tears of fears, of years
Saline wash the peasant posh
Through days and nights we live

Bottle request the psalmist addressed

To God entrust the tears we thrust
Recording each one the Father begun
No more if eternity we LIVE.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

one's hollow selfish cry

(see editors notes above before reading)

I feel nothing, place nor pain.
Numb’s where I exist.
Empty, hollow shell in wane,
sinks in mental mist.
To and from, appearance vague
for direction of each thought.
Comprehension is simply plagued,
by more than can be fought.
No will to fight, subdued am I
my knowledge, a sleeping joke.
Breath deeply drawn, exhale and sigh,
once more, alone I woke.
Felt the day, in part and piece,
time stared back at me.
It also laughed, but then ceased,
the joke it could not see.

Not Bad For You Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookie.

So here is my new Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookie recipe:
This recipe makes about 24 small cookies. I doubled it and made about 30 - 35 medium size.
Basic recipe in black...a bit more healthy changes in Red
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F. Coat baking sheet(s) with cooking/baking spray. (I used Crisco spray with flour)

3/4 cup rolled oats (I used quick oats) (make it 1 cup for a bit drier cookie)
1 cup whole-wheat unbleached flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter, softened (I used Smart Balance instead - same measurement)
1/4 cup canola oil (I used applesauce instead - same measurement)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon (to taste)
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 small to med size apple (about 1 cup) (what ever kind you like for taste) unpeeled, cored and diced.
I recommend starting with a small apple first time.

In medium bowl mix oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.
In large bowl mix butter, apple sauce, sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix until smooth and creamy. Mix in diced apples. Gradually add dry ingredients until mixed.

Drop dough by spoonfuls at least 1 inch apart onto prepared baking sheet(s). Bake cookies (one sheet at a time) until firm around the edges and golden on top...about 15 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool on sheets for about 2 mintues, then transfere to wire racks to cool completely.

Will be trying Banana soon...but already know that this will require more flour or oats to thicken up the dough. Other wise it would have to be baked in a cake pan and made into bars. Also planning on trying to reduce sugar to 1/4 cups since adding sweet of apple sauce and fruit.

Sinfully delicious alternative:
Replace vanilla with real raspberry (or cherry) extract and any style of chocolate chip you like.
I once used the raspberry extract and Cordial Cherry M&M's instead of chips and OH So Good.
