Good or bad, I encourage everyone to post comments (constructive critics prefered) about what ever you may read below. I'm no great writer, but I have fun with it. Hope you enjoy. Editors NOTE: For the record...I have included some poems that I wrote while being in sad/dark places. Writting down those feelinigs and thoughts would help get perspective on being sad. So I included them just to say, if you have ever felt this way, you are not alone. Write your own feelings down. Read over them and maybe share them with someone you love/who loves you. Don't let it bottle up.

Are you still there? Do you remember me?

Are you still there?
Do you remember me?
Was there unfair?
Was I too blind to see?
Did you walk away?
Were you running fast?
Something did I say?
Of future or of past?
Was there any love?
Can you answer this?
Memories spoken of?
Ever share a kiss?
Or a hug to share?
Did Us ever be?
Are you still out there?
Do you remember me?

Inspired, in part, by the poem Lois Lane's (Margot Kidder) mind spoke while flying around with Superman (Christopher Reeve), "Can you read my mind", and in part by Superman Returns.
“DACHSHUND ~ WIENER DOG ”
( Sing to the tune of “Jingle Bells” )

Dachshund through the snow
Tries to catch up to the sleigh
The horse is trotting fast
Bells a jinglin’ all the way
The pup barks loud and clear
I wanna ride, don’t make me beg
When I catch up to you sleigh riders
I’m gonna bite you on the leg

Oh wiener dog, wiener dog
Running in the snow
With his little paws wishes Santa Claus would make him faster go-OH
Wiener dog, wiener dog
He runs with all his might
Please slow down, or I’ll hit the ground and die on Christmas night. ( He’s a bit dramatic )

The horse’s pace it slows
There’s hope, the Dachshund smiles
He imagines a warm lap
As they ride the sleigh for miles
Thinking how he likes the woods
How he’s not a City Pup
Then his day dreams fall when he hears the call
“Bobtail, Giddy UP!”

Oh Wiener dog, wiener dog
It just seems so unfair
With his little limbs, seems like a sin that the driver doesn’t care
Oh Wiener dog, Wiener dog
If he were a grey hound
He’d run past that sleigh, laughing all the way into the little town.

Now this Dachshund’s feeling sad
Drained his energy supply
Feels he never will catch up
Frozen tear falls from his eye
Then he gives it one last push
Barks with jacked up Audio
Then he sees the driver pull the reigns
As he shouted “BOBTAIL WHOA!”

Oh Wiener dog, wiener dog
Your little legs are saved
Jumping in the sleigh, wagging tail, HURRAY!, through the snowy trail you braved
Wiener dog, wiener dog
The victor gets a ride
But it’s short not sweet, cause the rides complete, "Tie the horse let’s go inside".
